
Aurelia Chelfannisa
Biography
Aurelia is a sophomore in Biomedical Engineering with experience in research and leadership. She completed the First-Time Researcher Fellowship (FTR) analyzing the effects of chronic kidney disease on bone quality changes in the Quantitative Biomedical Imaging & Spectroscopy (QBIS) Lab. She serves on the Women in Engineering Leadership Team for the Mentees & Mentors Program and WiE Link, supporting both current and prospective students. She is also the Director of Social Media for the Purdue in Indianapolis Medical Association (PiMed).
Beyond academics, Aurelia is a Resident Assistant at North Hall. As an international student, she also connects with and supports fellow students through her roles as a Global Ambassador and Admissions Ambassador.
In her free time, Aurelia enjoys video production and content creation, as well as crafts such as painting and crochet.
